"Marton Moss and its Neighbourhood" by Harold Monks. The caption to photo
reads: Eaves Farm, Commond Edge Road/Highfield Road. Edward Eaves, his wife
Elizabeth, and George, aboard transport on their way to deliver milk in the
neighbourhood. c1920. Eaves Farm is now the site of the Highfield Hotel.

- Hello Peter,
These are the photos I was trying to send the other day.
On the sepia one, Alf & Family, my grandfather is the little boy on the
front row with the whip and his father is the one in the bowler. On Alfred
J.01 my father is sitting on my grandfather's knee and the last one has my mother,
father and me taken in 1942. Altogether
four generations starting in 1823.
